“A proud, strapping warrior of the Keltoi People (or Hidden People, later known as Celts) was taken in his prime by a maddened wolf-god. The warrior rose from the dead, now an immortal, with the spirit of the beast latent within him. He displayed the wolf’s traits: the need for touch, an intense loyalty to its kind, an animal craving for the delights of the flesh.”
The Lykae Clan originates from the highlands of Scotland, and though they have begun spreading across the globe, the largest contingent of Lykae remain in the United Kingdom.
Unlike in common superstition, a Lykae does not transform from a human to a wolf. Instead, the spirit of the beast rises up within them, causing preternatural strength and speed, animal-like instincts, the eyes to turn pale blue, and a flickering image of a wolf-like beast to hover over the form. The clan call this, "Letting the Beast out of the cage". A Lykae who has done so is terrifying to most other Immortals.
As with many of the other Immortal races, it is possible for a Lykae to be created. However, this is done in very rare cases, as a newly-turned Lykae has no control over the Beast, and is very dangerous. It can take years for a newly-turned Lykae to gain control of their Beast.
The Lykae clan loath the vampires, regardless of which court. They play at civility under law of the High Court, but many are happy to fight the Vampires and plead rage due to the Beast.

- Also called werewolves, war-wolds.
- A ceremony is required to 'create' another Lykae, not a bite.
- Has a monarchy.
