[[ Isolde Avira -- Um? ]]
The cup was warm against her fingers, but not so hot that it burned. Isolde decided her tea was going to have to be drunk swiftly, before it became too cold to be pleasant. She continued to sip as she listened to Egica talk. She actually enjoyed the sound of his voice; it was interesting to her. And to be honest, it wasn't often people went out of their way to speak to her.
Another question filtered through to her, and she glanced over to Huojin. It would have been rude for her not to answer, so she nodded to him.
"I have Fine Art," she told him, then looked back to Egica, so the other boy would not think she was ignoring him.
"A pleasure to meet you, Egica," she said with a small smile. She placed her cup down and held her hand out to shake his; after all, she had been brought up to be polite.
"Ich heiß Isolde Avira."

"Wunderschön"
Egica could see he had her attention for now and it pleased him no end.
He took her hand and with a slight bow planted a gentle, courteous kiss on it.
It was a calculated risk, But then while a rebuttal at this stage would be an extremely irritating waste of a morning, there was other fun to be had elsewhere.
"Isolde... Like the opera or the romance..."
Realising there was nothing to be gained from being openly rude to the other boy for now, it seemed only fitting to reply.
"I have what the college has crudely dubbed as fashion design."
The word "fashion" was entirely insufficient for the amount of venom he tried to pour into it.
He returned to Isolde.
"So... Du bist ein künstlerin?"

[Alexia Mattews ~ Breaking my silence... finally!]
Distracted from her work now, Alexia couldn't help but watch the people she was sitting with as they talked. To an outsider, they must look like quite an odd combination to be sitting at a table together. And in truth, they were. It was amazing what lack of eating space could do to bring a weird assortment of people together for a brief time. Not that she believed she would really eat with these people again. They were much too unique and fascinating to want to talk to her again. But one could never be sure. Life was full of surprises sometimes.
As the extravagantly dressed fellow stood up and introduced himself, Alexia couldn't help but cringe slightly. That was bound to draw attention to their table. Hopefully people would think nothing of it, but knowing her luck... people would notice.
Egica Blackmoor, or Edge as had also said, definitely seemed to be quite a character. And it was sort of clear that he and the other boy at their table were definitely on other sides of the spectrum. You could just feel the tension... not that she wasn't used to tension. Coming from a large family where fights frequently break out. But it still didn't make her feel any more awkward.
As the other girl introduced herself as Isolde Avira, in German no less, Alexia's eyes rested on her momentairly. From the seems of it, this Isolde looked to be quite a nice and pleasent girl, if not quiet at times. Not that Alexia could really comment... since she hadn't said anything herself yet. Gosh, they all must think her so odd for being so quiet. It was just some habits were very hard to break.
Seeing Isolde and Egica being in conversation, Alexia turned her attention back to the other boy. It seemed rude to her that he was being practically ignored, and what harm could it do to actually talk to him?
"I have Art too actually," She said, nodding her head slightly in the direction of Isolde. Art was her only non-music related class, but she still enjoyed it just the same. Though her career choice was definitely more in the path of music. Maybe her and Isolde would be in the same Art class... it would be nice for to know atleast one of her classmates before it started. "I also take Music, Music Composition and Musical Theatre. Pretty much a music student." She shrugged somewhat sheepishly.
"I'm Alexia Matthews."

[Leo Stillman - My alarm clock is my best friend]
Leo Stillman woke to the sound of his alarm clock. This was a daily occurrence and although many saw this small piece of technology as a curse or an enemy he saw it as a life-saver - he would never get up on time without it! He opened his eyes and lay there, listening to it ring for a few seconds before reaching over and turning the alarm off.
It was the start of his second year at the college and he was looking forward to classes once more. He never really got the chance to actually play when he was at home because nobody was around to play with him. Practising on his own just wasn’t the same.
He swung his legs over the side of the bed and sat up, stretching. He decided to take it easy this morning and save his energy for the first class of the term. He stood and allowed himself to go on autopilot, his feet taking him to the bathroom where he made sure that he was at least semi presentable. Short, dark blonde hair, slightly messy but not in a bad way. Blue eyes, slightly dull from recently shed sleep. He decided to leave them both for the time being and simply walked out of the bathroom again to change.
He pulled on a pair of Nike trousers, followed by a dark blue polo shirt. Simple and wouldn’t win any fashion awards but since when was sport about fashion? Since the big name started advertising now he come to think about it but he wasn’t going to pay any attention to that.
This was followed by his trainers and finally he was ready. He looked at the clock and recoiled in shock. How did he manage to take so long? He wanted to take it easy not be late for breakfast! He quickly rushed through the rest of his morning routine and went down to the dining hall, hoping that there would be a free space near his team.
No such luck. The hall was already packed with students and he had a choice of two seats. One was next to a boy he recognised, having seen him around the grounds on occasion but never really got to know. The other was next to a girl who looked like even if she was standing she would be far shorter than he was. She had chocolate brown hair and appeared to be wearing a jacket with musical notes on it - a music student? Either way he knew he felt kind of uncomfortable about the thought of sitting next to the girl. What if he accidentally knocked her?
He shook his head and decided to deal with it when he actually had his breakfast. At least being this late had one benefit - the line was a short one. He chose a healthy bowl of cereal and some orange juice and made his way to the table.
He was originally going to sit next to the boy but found himself sitting next to the girl instead. He gave her a nervous smile as sat down, carefully avoiding knocking her. He had obviously come in the middle of a conversation but since he didn’t know the topic he decided to simply begin eating, planning strategies for the new year.

[Ruan Huojin - What a creative bunch we are.]
Huojin smiled slightly at Alexia. "Ruan Huojin. You can call me Jin. I've got Chemistry this morning, but I also take theatre," he replied, glancing at the others before looking back to Alexia. "Looks like we're a rather creative bunch." He saw another boy sit beside her and nodded in greeting to him. Another new face. If they were joined by too many more, he was going to have to leave.

[Egica Blackmoore - Creative bunch of...]
"It is wonderful to create something of beauty, although I have to ask..."
Egica's eyes widenened in horror, his mouth hung open mid word.
What. Is. That
It sat amongst them.
Dull eyes like cattle, hair unkempt, clad in some god awful sports brand clothing and a polo shirt. He suppressed a shudder. He was aware these people existed, he understood sports although couldn't see how the concept would apply to him.
These people were to be observed from a distance, out of curiosity, like an anthropologist among chimps. Inellagant, vile things.
Egica quickly composed himself.
"Apologies I thought you were someone else."
God knows I can't tell you people apart
"My name is Egica, the others can introduce themselves if they are so inclined"
This table was getting out of hand. It seemed best to conclude his business here as soon as possible.
A little longer and I'll be done

[[ Isolde Avira --- So many people... I think I wish to go to class right this second... ]]
The table was becoming a little too crowded for Isolde's liking. She felt uncomfortable at the close proximity of so many people she did not know. They all seemed pleasant enough, but it didn't stop her feeling a bit panicked. She was so unused to this. This boarding-school business would take a lot longer to get used to than she had thought...
"So... Du bist ein künstlerin?"
"Ja," she nodded to Egica's query, a bit of a bashful smile playing at her lips. She supposed she was an artist, if she was going to be so pretentious. It would be nice to have a title like that. "Ich denke," she added, giving the tiniest of laughs.
She checked her watch, and her eyes widened minutely. "Ach, die zeit..." she murmured. She had precisely ten minutes to gather her belongings together and go to class. Stupid early-morning art class...
"Ich müß ins klasse gehen," she said politely to Egica, carefully rearranging her dishes on the tray, before rising from her seat.
[[[OOC: Art class will start in Side-Stories soon!]]]

I'm losing the upper hand here, I wasn't prepared for this level of company
Egica placed the knife and fork on the centre of the plate. With practiced routine he dabbed each corner of his mouth with the napkin twice.
"Ja, Ich Auch"
And the next bit I want them all to understand
He placed a hand over his heart and gave a bow.
"Alexia, I do so hope we meet again."
For the next a slight nod for the man in Nike.
"Stranger, i'm sure we'll cross paths again"
Finally for Isolde he reseved a smile from under his eyelashes and a deeper bow, with one leg crossed behind the other.
"Farewell for now"
Turning with a whip of his hair he stalked off down the corridor. If nothing else he made an impression on the group. They seemed the cattle he had come to expect. Alexia was a curiosity, but Isolde was something more. Her manner provoked a deep predatory reaction in him.
There is fun to be had here.

[Alexia Matthews ~ Um... what's going on?]
"It's nice to meet you Jin." Alexia smiled, nodding her head politely again. So far Jin seemed pleasent enough, and he was actually talking to her without comparing her to her siblings. That made a nice change. Not that Jin would have known her family. That would have been a little odd. But just the fact that she wasn't hearing about any of her family was such a relief. Choosing here to study was definitely a good idea.
"I agree with you there." She giggled. "Looking at us would give anyone a headache trying to work us out." Not that she wanted people looking at them... at her. Not yet anyway. If she was forced to take a spotlight now she might just have to curl up into a ball and die on the spot. Thankfully out of everyone at their table she seemed like the one people would just briefly glance at before staring at one of the others. Though that did little to comfort her.
As a new boy sat down next to her, Alexia turned her head to nod at him politely in greeting. Whoever he was he sure had left breakfast late. Classes would be starting soon and he had only just sat down. Though judging by the look of him he would be no stranger to eating quickly...
Her eyes flickered briefly to Egica again as he introduced himself to the new guy before returning to said new guy. "Welcome to the table." She smiled. "I'm Alexia, music student. This is Jin." She said, indicating Jin with a nod of her head.
As Isolde stood, shortly followed by Egica, Alexia couldn't help but turn her eyes onto the two of them. It seemed breakfast time was over...
She couldn't stop herself from flushing slightly pink as Egica addressed her and bowed... well that was unexpected, and something she definitely was not used to. Oh no... now people were staring. Though she was relieved to notice their gazes following Egica as he left the dining hall.
This relief was short lived though as she glanced down at her watch. In a quick flurry of activity she quickly stuffed the sheet music back into it's folder, trying not to curse all the while. If she didn't hurry she would be caught in the rush of people going to class, and besides... she wanted a good seat.
"Excuse me." She nodded apologetically. "I need to get to class. I guess I'll see you around." She smiled at the two remaining boys, before standing up. She nodded politely to Isolde as she quietly excused herself and left towards her first class.
Now that had been an interesting meeting.

[Leo Stillman - Oh dear lord...]
Leo began to eat quickly as he had class first thing this morning and he really didn’t want to be late for the first class of the day. Why did he always end up rushing like this? It was a good thing he never seemed to get indigestion from all of his rushed breakfasts.
He listened to the table introduce themselves and smiled politely, nodding at those who introduced themselves but jerked a little in surprise when he saw one of the boys expression - on of restrained disgust, as though he had summed Leo up and found him less acceptable than a worm. The look passed quickly as the boy introduced himself - Egica, he would have to remember that - and Leo began to think that he had imagined it.
The girl next to him seemed fairly quiet and shy and introduced herself as Alexia and the boy next to her as Jin, who seemed to be full of energy. Leo thought he had seen this boy before in the school…seemed familiar.
Before he could introduce himself properly they all began to leave the table for their first lessons. He wondered why until he glanced at his watch. Oh dear lord…
He began to wolf his food down. After a minute he had finished and he quickly stood up, still chewing on the last of his cereal and nodded to Jin before half walking, half running to his next class.

Ruan Huojin ~ Last Man Standing
Huojin had been waiting for Egica to ask the question that seemed to be on the edge of his tongue before noticing the new boy. So his attention was on the other man when the grimace crossed his face.
'So he doesn't like athletes, huh? Why am I not surprised?' He heard Alexia say his name and turned to smile at the new guy. Before he could introduce himself, the others jumped up from the table and started running toward class.
"Nice to meet you," he said to anyone remaining in ear shot, as he grabbed his bag and quickly made sure all his books were there. Thankfully, he had more than enough energy to make it to class on time.
